With her fifth album, Matangi, due in November, Maya Arulpragasam today dropped a sample-heavy single that, for M.I.A., is quite chilled. Nodding towards Blur and Rose Royce, the track is labelled 'Lovers Rock' and 'Break-up' song over on Soundcloud.
As one of the UK's most musically boundary breaking artist, no doubt Matangi will be another extraordinary release from the Sri Lankan born rapper-slash-singer.
