If you're a Shoreditch regular, then you may well have seen John Dolan with his ever trusty and distinctive black eyed boxer, George. It turns out that the formerly homeless artist has been sketching sights from the hipster capital for several years, documenting the ever changing architecture of Shoreditch High St, Brick Lane and the looming city behind them.
Dolan has also worked with local street artists like ROA and Zomby, who add their mark to his city-scapes, in the series of striking paintings.
John's work, titled George The Dog, John The Artist, will be exhibited at the Howard Griffin Gallery, 189-190 Shoreditch High Street from Spetember 19 to the 26.
