An absolute must-do for anyone in, or interesting in getting in, the music industry.
Not only a day of mind-opening debates ('Is the industry guilty of killing MC Culture'?) with leading industry experts (and me!), there's performances from Joe Black, Shezar, A*M*E, Donaeo, Elro, Rascals, Jay Norton and many, many more. I will be chairing a panel on the fight against illegal downloading with Mikill Pane (newly signed to Mercury), award winning producer Jake Gosling (Ed Sheeran), SBTV's Liam Toootil, Alex Hardee from live agent Coda, 1Xtra's DJ Target and Olivia Nunn from Island Records.
Casio Marketing Manger Sarah Salter will be on a panel discussing women in the industry. There will also be network speed-dating, seminars on publishing, legal advice and much, much more.
If you're even halfway serious about pursuing a career in front of the mic, or as a journalist, A&R, manager, lawyer, PR etc., etc., then you NEED to be at Rich Mix on 27 October.
Tickets are £8, more on the door. Get one of the remaining few, alongside more info, here.
