Picasso Baby: Trailer
Not quite sure how Alan Cumming managed to get himself involved in this one, but there you go.
Airing on HBO this Friday and billed as a Performance Art Project, the film documents Jay-Z's 6 hour performance of Picasso Baby at New York's Pace art gallery earlier last month. Attended by Judd Apatow, Cummings and performance artist Marina Abramovic, Hov performed the song over and over again. Why? We're not sure, but the film will no doubt explain all.
"Rap is thinking out loud," says Jay in the trailer. "And you're putting your fears and your vulnerabilities and your insecurities to music. Concerts are pretty much performance art, and a smaller venue is more intimate, so you feel the energy of the people."
